Biserica Neagra din Brasov

Ramanand pe meleaguri transilvanene, sa intoarcem, draga cititor, o noua fila a povestilor din Romania. Iar de data aceasta, sa ne asezam pe trepetele unui spatiu sacru si sa ascultam acordurile armonioase ale unei orgii.
Da, ai ghicit, despre Biserica Neagra este vorba. Construita in 1383, pe locul unei biserici mai vechi, Biserica Neagră din Brasov nu este doar lacasul comunităţii parohiale „Honterus” a Bisericii Evanghelice, ci si un important momument arhitectural din Romania. Constructia ei este de asemenea invaluita intr-o aura de mit, caci pe contrafortul din partea nordică se gaseste o statuie ciudata, infatisand un copil care parca sta sa cada. Se povesteste ca acesta era un ucenic foarte talentat, care a starnit invidia unuia dintre mesterii care lucrau la ridicarea bisericii. Acesta i-ar fi cerut sa ridice ceva de pe cornisa zidului, iar cand tanarul s-a aplecat, l-a imbrancit si a cazut în gol. Statueta reprezinta omagiul adus de catre colegii sai. Pe vremuri, pe aceeasi parte a bisericii, se mai aflau si alte trei statui, reprezentând un razboinic, o femeie si un leu, care, in timp, au fost distruse.






O alta poveste e legata de incendiul din 1869, in urma caruia a primit numele de Biserica Neagra. Se spune ca intreaga biserica era poleită cu aur, ceea ce starnise o asa mare invidie. Asa ca cineva ar fi pus intentionat acel foc, pentru a-i fura intreaga bogatie.

De la vampiri la printi. Castelul Peles

Si daca in postul trecut vorbeam despre vampiri, povesti in jurul lui Vlad Tepes si aura misterioasa a castelului Bran, te invit acum, cititorule, sa pasim in lumea unui alt castel. De data aceasta, e vorba despre un regesc :). Se spune ca frumusetea castelului Peles nu poate fi descrisa in cuvinte, asa ca vom lasa pozele sa vorbeasca

This time is about a regal one:). It is said that the beauty of Peles castle is so incredible that it cannot be described in words, so we will let pictures talk.

Intorcand prima fila a povestii "Romania, de poveste"

Inconjurata de munti, pe un varf de deal, se ridica semeata cetatea Bran, despre care se povesteste ca a fost cea in care a trait Dracula. Dar cine este acest conte misterios despre care toata lumea vorbeste ?

Cu mult timp in urma, in secolul al XV-lea, traise un principe cu numele Vlad Tepes, conducatorul Tarii Romanesti.
Dorinta de a face tinutul si mai prosper, il determina pe conducator sa aplice raufacatorilor osande ce capatasera faima unor pedepse groaznice, pline de cruzime. Se povestea ca ardea pe rug oameni, iar pe unii ii tragea de vii in tepe . Pentru ca se impotrivise sultanului, in urma unui complot, a fost prins si trimis in temnita castelului Bran. Dupa o perioada a fost eliberat si a redevenit conducator al tinutului Tarii Romanesti, dar pentru o perioada scurta, caci a fost asasinat.
Cateva secole mai tarziu, un scriitor din Irlanda, Bram Stoker, a scris un roman intitulat "Dracula". In paginile cartii, el povestea despre un conte sangeros care aplica pedepse crunte supusilor sai. Imbracase in alte straie istorisirele despre domnia principelui Vlad Tepes.
Acest nou personaj a fascinat cititorii din intreaga lume, istoria s-a impletit cu legenda, iar pe Vlad Tepes, fiul al lui Vlad Dracul, oameni l-au asemuit cu Dracula.
Cea mai cunoscuta imagine a lui Dracula este cea a unui vampir. Aceasta este inspirata dintr-o conceptie populara referitoare la strigoi, care dateaza din vremea lui Vlad Tepes. Strigoii era acele finte supranaturale despre care se spunea ca duc o viata dubla: ziua erau oameni normali, iar seara se transformau in spirite si fie bantuiau oameni, fie lasau animalele fara suflu.
Desi eronata, povestea unui Dracula care suge sangele oamenilor a ramas vie si astazi. Iar castelul Bran e un loc ideal pentru a broda in jurul acestei imaginii. Nu il veti intalni pe faimosul conte aici si nici nu veti zari vreo urma a sangerosului principe, caci el nu a trait pe meleagurile transilvanene niciodata, dar cu siguranta e un loc pe cinste de vizitat. Si ca sa va conving, iata aici cateva poze.

Surrounded by mountains, on the top of a hill, the beautiful landscape reveals the Bran fortress, the one that is told to be the place where Dracula live. But how is this mysterious count about whom everyone is talking about?
Many years ago, in the XV century, lived an Impaler called Vlad Tepes, ruller of the Tara Romaneasca. His desire to do the district richer than it was at that time, led the follower to apply some very cruel punshiments, and this is how the word about him as a cruel ruller spread all over the area and even far beyond. It was said that he burn people alive and pull them trought skipes. Because he withstand the sultan, he was caught and send to prison. After a short period he was released and set again as ruller, but due to a complot against his power, he was killed.
Many centuries after this events, an Irish writer, Bram Stoker , wrote a novel called Dracula. In the pages of this novel, he was telling about a earl who punished its followers in a blody way. He had given a facelift to the stories that were rumoured about Vlad Tepes Impaler centuries ago. The new charachter fascinated the entire world. Since then, the mith and reality became inseparable and Vlad Tepes, the son of Vlad Dracul, became asociated with Dracula.
The most known image of Dracula is the one of a vampire. This is inspired from a folk conception talking about specters, which were familiar during Vlad Tepes times. The specters were called to those supernatural beings which had a double life: during day they were normal people and by night they became specters, their main activity being either haunting people or sucking animal’s blood. Even if is misrepresented, the image of a sucking people’s blood Dracula is alive even today. And Bran castle is the perfect place to embroider around this image. You won’t meet Dracula and you won’t even see a sign of Vlad Tepes Impaler there, but for sure is a great place to visit. And if you are still undecided, then maybe these pictures will make you change your mind. :)

"Romania, o poveste" se recomanda ca un blog dedicat povestilor Romaniei. Fiecare dintre noi este fascinat de lumea povestilor iar Romania are multe povesti de spus. Am vrut sa vedem care sunt cele mai interesante, asa ca am pornit intr-o mica cercetare, in care i-am intrebat atat pe romani, cat si pe straini, ce povesti de pe aceste meleaguri stiu si/sau ar dori li se spuna. Rezultatele le puteti vedea aici si aici.
De la raspunsul lor si pana la "nasterea" acestui blog, nu a mai fost decat un pas.
Scopul "Romania, o poveste" este acela de a transmite cititorilor povestile fascinante ale acestei tarii, fara sa o idealizeze, ci mai degraba sa o redescopere.
Si acum sa intram in lumea povestilor:)!

"Romania, o poveste" recommends itself as a blog for stories. Each of us is fascinated by stories and Romania has a lot to tell. We wanted to see which ones are the most interesting, so we did a started a small research asking both Romanians and foreigners about those that they know/ would like to be told about. What came in the end, you can find here and here.
Since that step until what we are reading know, was just a step.
The purpose of "Romania, o poveste" is to tell its readers about the fascinating stories of this country, without idealizing it, but more rediscovering it.
